ROYALS ANNOUNCE 2017-18 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

Victoria to open season at home on Friday, September 22nd vs. Vancouver.

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce their schedule for the 2017-18 Western Hockey League (WHL) Regular Season.

The Royals will open their seventh WHL season at home against the Vancouver Giants on Friday, September 22nd. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Victoria will have two season long five-game homestands. The first set will begin on Saturday, October 28th and conclude on Friday, November 10th. During that time, the Royals will host the Giants, Kelowna Rockets, and Edmonton Oil Kings. The second homestand will consist of visits from Edmonton, the Red Deer Rebels, Vancouver, and Portland Winterhawks between Wednesday, February 14th and Saturday, February 24th.

The Royals’ longest road trip of the season will span seven games from Friday, October 13th to Wednesday, October 25th. During that time, the club will visit the Spokane Chiefs, Seattle Thunderbirds, Edmonton, Regina Pats, Brandon Wheat Kings, Saskatoon Blades, and Prince Albert Raiders.
