Royals and Cougars Games Postponed

The WHL has announced that the Victoria Royals and Prince George Cougars games scheduled for this weekend have been postponed for a later date as a result of multiple players and staff being added to the WHL COVID-19 Protocol List due to exhibiting symptoms or having tested positive for COVID-19.

The Royals were scheduled to be in Prince George on Friday to play two games against the Cougars for the first time in the new year. The WHL requires all rostered players, hockey operations staff, and other team and League office personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a Health Canada approved vaccine. The Victoria Royals will continue to work within the WHL guidelines to provide a safe and healthy environment for our staff, players and fans.

In accordance with the Western Hockey League’s policy, the WHL, the Victoria Royals and the Prince George Cougars will not be commenting further on the situation.

For tickets to upcoming Royals games, visit the Victoria Royals ticketing page or call the Select Your Ticket box office at 250-220-7777
