Victoria, BC – The health, safety and well-being of our fans, players and staff remain the most important priority of the Victoria Royals Hockey Club and as a result are in full support of the Canadian Hockey League and Western Hockey League’s decision to pause the 2019-20 season due to COVID-19.

Due to this decision, the Royals upcoming home games tomorrow and Saturday vs. the Prince George Cougars will not take place as originally scheduled.

The Royals are currently working on answers to frequently asked questions from our various stakeholders and it is our intention to communicate on a regular basis as this situation is fluid.

Victoria would like to thank their season ticket members, fans and corporate partners for their cooperation, patience, and understanding during this unprecedented time.

As with the WHL, the Royals will hope to resume the season and playoffs when appropriate and prudent.
